It was good and all (albeit sad) but what is the message that it is supposed to convey?

the message, i think, is that all of us are the same inside. we all have feelings. the man in the video once had a life, and once had loved someone. but now he has lost everything and is now looked down upon in society. sadly he dies a lonely man. we should learn to look past peoples unsuccessful lives to see and respect them as normal people. God loves His children and we should love each other as He loves us.
