Great game

Nice use of Zelda sprites and gimmicks (like the Raft)

Took me a while but I beat the game. Except for some lag between rooms nothing was really wrong with it's design. Great job.

I guess I'm ranked #94 in the world

I took the 94th spot on the 6th try with a score of 110,030

I don't think a lot of people are on the ranking list. Yet.

Besides the lack of fluidity, it's an improvement on previous versions. And the addition of a world rank table is gold!

I beat all 30 levels and attained a score of 49,463 my first time.

Very good game. I like it. Though one should note the copter can hover without messibg with any buttons. I started out thinking it would go down without your assistance.

Better than the original version

Still a little tricky to see enemy fire. This version is quite a bit harder than the original Contra as well. Looks like an interesting game to play with 2 players.

My favorite level and music of Contra

Awesome Remake! My main critique is that of the framerate, it's not near as smooth as the original Contra, nor did you use original music. But your Hi-fi version was pretty good. I'm glad to see a recent battery of fine CONTRA flashes around Newgrounds.

A little tricky. Maybe I just suck at these games. I need some more practice.

Besides that you pick good music and it works, your addition of options (speed, etc) make sure it doesn't have a half-assed feel to it.

One level isn't enough for most people here. Although it is random each, one might implement multiple levels and scoring.

I wouldn't call this "torture" I'd call it more like comedy. Either way it's good. Though only having 5 options kind of whetted the appetite.
