Highly educational, and very interesting

This is not only very educational, but a very interesting tool which makes it fun to view and compare the sizes of both the smallest and largest objects known to man.

The "toward-and-away" zooming was the perfect format for this type of presentation.
As well, your numerous and concise add-ons added an even greater perspective and in-depth look at the mass of numerous objects, and made it easier to understand the scope of the size comparison thereof.

For one, the meter was the central unit of measurement used in this presentation. With the meter (measurement) and humans in the center, that made it the focal point (and fulcrum) of the scale. The perfect starting point, as we are comparing the mass of everything from ourselves.

The in-place measurements along the scale made it easy mathwise to quickly understand the size of that unit of measurement versus a single meter. With the size of the average human listed at 1.7 meters, that doubles our perception.

All in all, fully in-depth, easy to understand, and very well done.

Awesome 8-bit platformer game

This game was perfect in just about every way! The music went perfectly with the game, the gameplay was addictive, and 64 unique in-game achievements.

Not to mention the random room selection, random appearance or non-apperanaces of enemies on certain rooms, and ability to obtain and use items.

The concept that enemies hinder and did not "kill" you, unless they knocked you off to the bottom of the vertically scrolling tower, keeps players from getting TOO frustrated when playing.

Last but not least, the objective of the game. GRAB ALL YOU CAN!

Overall it's virtual perfection for a game of it's type!

221 seconds

Cleared the game in 221 seconds!

This game is addictive and awesome. I love these random achievements type games.

This particular game is metagaming at it's finest! All the elements fit perfectly into this small but satisfying platformer.

8-bit goodness

The 8 bit style graphics were perfect! It looked exactly like an old classic platformer game would look like.

The Heartbreaker medal IS attainable, as I have gotten it along with all the other medals.

The controls were a little dodgy, and take a bit getting used to, a minor annoyance at best. It's too easy to accidentally activate the DASH when you don't want to use it, and that was the most annoying feature about the controls.

And a little humor is always appreciated. Good job, and the sequel looks promising.

A superb sequel to a superb game

First off, I wish to note that your choice of music in both games made them all the more epic. Along with the artwork and humor, it is the best Flash RPG ever made.

The upgrade system was great, and even better, it's tailored to suit your play style. I realized the upgrades you are offered at the end depended entirely on what you did during the wave. Example if you use a specific skill a lot, you will likely be able to upgrade that skill at the end. This is the same for Natzs summons as well.
Example being that if you use the Black Fang sword and the Unleash skill a lot during a wave, you could get the "Venomous" upgrade to be immune to poison/stun, and the upgrade to boost the power of Unleash by 40% although you can only pick one of them at a time.

The save system was a well needed addition. Whether it was a better idea to save before or after the minigame and shop is debatable, and is likely always going to be a two-sided affair unless you have the option to save before or after.

The choice of moves, both offensive and defensive for both characters was very well done, and the ability to Unleash special abilities from Matts swords was an awesome addition to the game.

Along with the Bestiary, countering moves, and other new additions to the game, this is perfection.

Epic!

I beat the game on Epic Difficulty.

First off I'd like to say it was a wonderful game start to finish. There are plenty of things about this game I could point out that differ significantly from other turn-based RPGs, but there's no need.

I enjoyed the art gallery and the descriptions thereof. Your sketches, bios, and complete works were good enough to grab my attention and keep it.

Also, I would have suggested that another Art gallery have been included in Epic Battle Fantasy 2, but that's probably because you put the majority of the game art in this one.

Balance in the game is questionable, and could vary. Prime examples, the Devils Sunrise sword's heavy MP drain, and the Spirit Bomb attacks.
Any imbalances in-game probably cancel each other out, so it works. The Mp drain from the sword may be high, but so are the spirit bomb attacks, so your advantages versus the enemies advantages are cancelled out there.

All in all, I think this game turned out pretty well. The craftsmanship and imagination of this game were great, and this was top-notch work. I enjoyed it start to finish, and this has to be one of the best Flash RPGs out there.

Short but fun

Fun and not too hard once you get the patterns down.

Once I learned when and how to avoid those eye lasers (and that platforms are solid underneath) I found this game to be quite fun.

Also lol at the last level, and the SMB2 style ending.
Overall I really liked this game.

Got all the medals!

I got all the medals for this game. Including "Lost In Forever" for beating an explore campaign. As well, I also beat the map ranked #1 in Difficulty, "Hellnauts"

Now for the review:

This puzzle-platformer game is about as good as it can get with the resources within it. And the map creator was incredibly simple to use, so anyone could make a level for this.
(Feel free to play my level, #7035 "The Blender")

One thing that I was glad to know was that this game tracks the number of map votes to your username, not your saved data.
If you wiped your saved data, you would not lose your total number of map votes. I know because I accidentally wiped my saved data before I got the "O)))" medal.

Therein lies an issue. You don't get a confirmation message asking if you want to delete all your data, like you should. If you click "Erase Saved Data" you simply hear a "rip" and your saved data is erased.
You are susceptible to accidental deletion because the "Skip" button in the intro cutscene is right next to the Erase Button in location on the screen.
I only knew I had accidentally deleted my data because I was not in the final level anymore on the normal game.

The only real flaw this game had was that it's very laggy, even on low quality. Collecting keys made the lag problem worse, even if they were motionless. And that on top of the moving objects like vortexes, spinners, etc. The lag would not go away until the game was reloaded.

The Level Display above the Authors Comments was a great idea, as you could browse all levels outside of the game! And sort them however you wanted, By Most/Least Awesome, Difficult, recent, etc. All with a thumbnail picture that conveniently showed you the level without having to load it.

One option I didn't see that I feel should be there was to stop all messages from Steven (or whoever it is) in the center-right window. I can mute the sound and music, but I can't turn the messages off. And I think it gets tiring to have to listen to them all the time, so that would be a good addition to the game.

All in all, this is definitely a great game. One of the best puzzle games without a doubt, and it's even better because it's a platformer as well. Awesome combination of the two done perfectly.

Got all medals

Beat Madness Mode. Whoo!

One thing I noticed is when I lost my first life on Madness Mode, in the chainsaw room, I actually had 17 health left. I wonder why it did that.

At least I'm sure I had that much health left. Ah well, no big deal.
Overall, great game.

Innovative

The ship upgrade system was innovative I must say. I was not only able to place my own parts, but it didn't seem to mind where I placed them either. I could have rear lightning, front lightning, 8 guns, or tons of homing missile launchers, or even rear forward turrets. I have yet to see if I could place parts OFF the ship, like floating gun turrets, or "buddy" lightning "ships"

I got all the achievements and 110% progress in 1,947 seconds :)

And yes, mindless upgrading IS fun, so a solid 9/10 from me.
